You will be hard-pressed to find someone who does not love dogs. Unfortunately, one of the biggest drawbacks of having a man’s best friend around is having to clean up after them and train them. Some of my kids have sensory issues and certain stimulations that they prefer. One of my daughters, in particular, really enjoys the feeling of grass beneath her feet but does not often enjoy spending time outside.

Of course, we get plenty of fresh air as well, but I do not think that forcing our kids to do things they do not like is a good way to have them trust us. So, that was certainly one of my motivators.
For my other kids, though, I have plenty of other fun activities set up in there. They get some soccer and footballs to toss around (since there are no breakables besides the computer, and they are quite responsible). They also have a dollhouse and a small sandbox filled with kinetic sand. Essentially, I have done my best to create a little recreational paradise for them!
